Students from all over the state, specifically from the Birmingham City Schools, can visit the Center for Food Education, which is where the Jones Valley Teaching Farm is based, to learn more about things like practical cooking skills, determining quality food while shopping, finding fresh and affordable ingredients, and community gardening opportunities. This center is currently in the works and will offer local people several new professional development and employment options.
